Before the project

This large family home is situated in the suburbs of Salt Lake City in Utah. It consists of 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with a house value of $835,000.The home is detached and has beautiful scenery. The family of five has three Children, of which two are teenagers, two boys seventeen, fourteen, and a girl of ten. The basement is complete as far as dry walls etc, however, had never been decorated and furnished. There is already a closet with sliding doors that has interior shelves and rails. The family has already had a new bathroom fitted in the basement, so didn't need addressing.

The finished project

 The project was to decorate and design new interiors in their basement, which has been a long-awaited family desire. They wanted the space to bring the family closer with lots of entertainment and feel inviting for family and friends. They wanted a small bar with a dishwasher, wine fridge, and dining area so they could have snacks with their drinks. The boys wanted a snooker table, dartboard, and a large T.V with game consoles. They needed an ample comfortable seating area to be in the center of the room. Storage for books, games, and display trophies won by the boys.
